  • Its All About Spiti

We invite you to join us in the ‘Spiti: Real Himalayan Challenge’ on http://www.spitihighlife.blogspot.com

The challenge would be of interest to you if:

§ you are fascinated with the Himalayas – its ecology & economy

§ are brilliant in your profession & curious to test your knowledge, expertise or skills in a different kind of scenario from the regular work or

§ have the drive of social entrepreneurship or

§ share a relationship with the stark & alluring Spiti.

The challenge needs creatively applied expertise on a range of aspects – technology, environmental, business management, sports to art . In case you do have knowledge, skills or connections that can solve the various parts of the puzzle, please do join in.

To quote the wise Joseph Badaracco, “In today’s environment, hoarding knowledge ultimately erodes your power. If you know something very important, the way to get power is by actually sharing it “.

We are currently growing as a team with people from different disciplines, sectors and regions joining in. Our acheivements so far have been primarily due to the strength of this collective effort and pooling in of more support/expertise will take us very far.

Incidentally, Warren Bennis article ‘The Secrets of Great Groups’ for the Leader to Leader Institute challenges the myth of a Lone Ranger (a larger than life individual) single handedly accomplishing great things with a simply powerful reminder – “None of us is as smart as all of us.”

So, if you can push the limits, do pool in your might to this Himalayan challenge.
